SMART BEAR in France: The Inclusion of the 1st Participants : An important Step Forward in France !

We are pleased to announce that the SMART BEAR project has officially started in France, with the welcome of the first study participant at the Hospital of Saint-Brieuc on April the 9th, followed by the welcome of new participants last Friday, April the 12th. Then Lille included its first participant April the 18th. 
 
These first participants will receive fully  configured devices by the end of April.
 
We would like to warmly thank Both clinical team of Lille University Hospital and Saint Brieuc for the work accomplished in launching the SMART BEAR project in the cities of Saint-Brieuc and Lille. 
 
This step marks the starting point of the national momentum and will soon be followed by the welcome of new study participants in several cities across France.
Actually 11 investigation centers are involved in the SMART BEAR project in 10 different cities in north, west and south part of France. 
 
Following the training session on the use of the eCRF that was organized this week for several clinical teams from investigator centers, the scheduling of screening and eligibility assessment should begin in several additional cities next week.
