14 to 21 August – Tegea, Peloponnese, Greece
The Region of Peloponnese through the General Directorate of Public Health & Social Welfare participated actively in the 51st Pampeloponnisian Expo, held in Tegea, Greece, from the 14th to the 21st of August 2023. Given this chance, the people who came to visit the Expo were all informed about the relevance of the SMART BEAR Project and the benefits, that could be gained by the participants and their caregivers.
The Team Members, overall, contributed to the successful outcome given the results and were given the chance to speak with and inform new candidates.
To be more explicit, seeing the positive impact on the Project’s excess after participating in the 50th Pampeloponnisian Expo, the General Directorate of Public Health & Social Welfare and the Team Members disseminated the SMART BEAR Project, to anybody who would be interested in adopting a healthier and more independent lifestyle either for his/her self or his/her beloved ones. Some worthy goals, that were achieved, are:
• The Dissemination by providing leaflets and utilizing similar printed promotional material,
• The fulfillment of Pre-Recruitment Questionnaires on the spot,
• The Pre-Recruitment of 40 adherent candidates, who will possibly participate in the HORIZON “SMART BEAR”,
• The Pre-Recruitment of candidates, who reside outside the Regional Unit of Arcadia &
• The update on the rest running Projects, that are related to the Precaution & Implication of Public Health and are carried out by the General Directorate of Public Health and Social Welfare.
